I saw a flash in Draco last night. Date Sun July 11 2004 apprx time 11:30pmCST Apparent brightness -8 Est. location RA. 18h58m Decl. +68 Est. Duration 1~2sec Est. size ~20" No movement in object. It did not move like an iridium flare.Time was too late for flares in this area. Object did not move at all. The event looked circular with a flat even light and with a black dot in the middle.Very strange, an awesome sight! |

I should not have revised coor.
Back to orig. Size ~40" or more is allright. Could this be a GRB? Though it was near MW galatic plane. It could be beyond the rim. news_naught wrote: news_naught wrote: Thought I would put this out there. I saw a flash in Draco last night. From where did you observe this, especially Latitude. Might be a flash
from flat panel on a high orbit sattelite. 1000 - 100,000 miles up. news_naught wrote: I should not have revised coor. Back to orig. Size ~40" or more is allright. Could this be a GRB?
