My computer is cursed

I want to let you know why I haven't replied in some threads that I
started.

I post using Google and something strange is happening: usually Google
won't let me see any posts later than May 27th. Sometimes when I boot
my computer, they are visible (such as now), but then quickly
disappear again.

This is also why one posting appeared without my name on it (I
repeated it later), because I used a different computer, which doesn't
experience this.

I suspect that it isn't really your computer (which is really just a
dumb tool).

I suspect that it's really *you* who is cursed - perhaps your entire
family line, but that extension remains unproven. While you *may* also
be just a dumb tool, the universe seems to have noticed and is now
retaliating. I suggest hiding under your bed wearing an tin foil hat.

IF (note the big if) he used the same program to do the shipping,
then he does need to compare software that worked and his software
and settings.

Google search: Forte Free Agent.

An excellent product - used it for years. Also try Mozilla Thunderbird
(my current news/mail client).

That being said, he's really cursed.

Use your ISP. Get a decent browser. Learn how to use a newsreader.

I am posting in reply to all the messages here. The problem has fixed
itself, possibly due to the end of the month. I have tried Free Agent,
but I do not find it as convenient as Google, either for reading or
for posting.

Agent i best, but you have to make a lot of configuration first.
Default configuration is barely usable.
