Rudy, That's nice. Did you see the lunar eclipse the other night? Tom McDonald Rudy, Tom, This is not the first time we've heard about a celestial body about to cross our path. We all remember the Planet X debacle. However, I find it curious that a number of sources are proclaiming that earth will be besieged by comet clusters. Has anyone checked out http://www.barry.warmkessel.com ? This site has about every doomsday scenario imaginable and they all seem to point to comet clusters hitting the earth between 2006-2012. Those of you familiar with the Bible Code predictions should be aware of the 2006 date. Three strike dates are predicted by the code 2006, 2010, 2012. Have any astronomer out there heard of the phenomena of comet clusters striking earth at regular intervals? Warmkessel sets forth that argument and does it with a multitude of sources. Can anyone shed any light as to Dr. Warmkessel credentials other than what is posted on his site? What if any effects can be expected from the comets approaching earth this summer? I just hate it when weird science and prophesy come together and cause my gut to react! RT |

om... I just hate it when weird science and prophesy come together and cause my gut to react! Weird science and prophesy come together quite often... it would be when "real" science and prophecy come together that you might want to care. OTOH... if you consider the "bible codes" to be either "science" or "prophecy" you probably won't every have to worry... or you will be worried all the time. Either reaction is as valid as the other. Now the "Moby Dick codes" on the other hand.... g |

Now the "Moby Dick codes" on the other hand.... g Paul, There is an obsure dividing line between weird science and what others proclaim to be the real deal. Take for example the overwhelming consensus by scientists and paticularly those who frequent this new group that paranormal phenomena is a figment of one's imagination; delusional. I'm not about to try to convince any one concerning this. It's only through personal experience that the Randi's will ever "wake up". What my concern is, is that prophecy, science and the state of the world politic are now on the same page. I think we need to seriously examine the signs of the times in the wake of numerous...... let's say for now, "coincidences". Back to my original questions: Does anyone have any information concerning the original posts claim of 'Imminent Danger from Comet Clusters' and the possible effect if any of the two comets coming this summer? Also, does anyone have the scoop on Dr. Warmkessel? RT PS. Paul, by the way, I've read all the literature pro and con cocerning the Bible Code and I still cannot dismiss it. The Moby Dick, War and Peace argument does not hold water. To use the code properly your questions must use an accurate translation of the Bible and searches must be yield a CLOSE ELS pattern. You can get an ELS with almost any book. The results from the code appear to be unique in this regard. Check it out. |

I think we need to seriously examine the signs of the times in the wake of numerous...... let's say for now, "coincidences". *sigh* And it is only through reliable double blind experimental observation (or non-observation as the case may be) of paranormal phenomena that you will ever "wise up." Again, please don't say "science" when you mean weird or pseudo science. If it is not fasifiable and/or cannot pass a double blind study it is NOT science. So that leaves you with only a confluence of "prophecy" (although you do not state whos prophecies you like) and the state of the world politic. Pretty shakey ground on which to base any life decisions, IMHO. Paul, by the way, I've read all the literature pro and con cocerning the Bible Code and I still cannot dismiss it.
