I'm having trouble finding an eyepiece projection adapter to use with my
Radian eyepieces. The adapter from Scopetronics has the largest inside diameter that I've seen, but it's still too narrow and too short for the Radians. Does a larger eyepiece projection adapter exist? Thank you, Kevin |

Does a larger eyepiece projection adapter exist? Not sure what size those eyepieces are but Celestron's Tele-extender fits over my 35mm wideangle ep. http://hometown.aol.com/nlpjp/index.html |

![]() Hi Kevin, Astro-Physics (http://www.astro-physics.com) has an Eyepiece Projection Tele-Extender (CEP000) which can be used with radians, tak's and all those big eyepieces. The only point is that it attaches to 2" focusers. Cheers, Pere Sanz Kevin hansen wrote: I'm having trouble finding an eyepiece projection adapter to use with my Radian eyepieces. The only eyepiece projection adapters that I have found that will fit both Radians and 2" eyepieces are made by Borg: http://www.sciencecenter.net/hutech/...proj/index.htm How it couples to a standard 2-inch adapter? I have no clue. Now for Afocal projection I use the Tele Vue Radian adapters and they work great. Take Care, JAS |

The big eyepieces are primarily aimed at impressive views directly with they eye, rather than for photography. Cheers, Larry G. |

Thank you, all. I was hoping to avoid buying more eyepieces, but I'll look
into the Ortho option. The EP adapter is to go between an Optec TCF-S focuser and an ST-10 camera. I called Televue and was told that their EP adapter would not fit the Radians which are the smallest diameter eyepieces I have. If the Radians won't fit in in the Astro-Physics adapter, that leaves me with the Borg. The Borg adapters look like they will work. If I were to get the 2-inch adapter, then I could also use my 24 Panoptic (1.25-inch) which is even wider than the Radians. Other than the mechanical hassle I'm running into, is there a disadvantage to using my more visual-oriented eyepieces instead of an orthoscopic?
