Default Protecting computer from dew?

Any suggestions/tips on how to protect a laptop computer from dew?
Anything available commercially ... or any home-made solutions?
Many thx.

You could adjust the power-save settings so it does not shut itself down and
then leave it on. Its own heat will keep dew away.

Since its a laptop, a more energy efficient solution would be to bring it
inside when you're done with it.

a cardboard box laid on the side works well. it also shields the light from
the screen from other observers. one guy in our club uses a small igloo
shaped dog house to cover his. it's equipped with a red light inside and a
vent fan out the top.

of course, if you have access to 110v, heating pads keeps all equipment dry.

peace,

Samos--

okay, commercial stuff. it isn't cheap, but there is a "cadillac" answer to
dew:

http://www.kendrick-ai.com/dewremover.html

scroll down and you'll see that one of the components is a heater for a
laptop.

btw: i have a set of these heaters for my 4" refractor and they're awesome.
the scope can be literally dripping in dew and the optics will stay clear.

clear, dark skies--
