Bummer, but then again, way past warranty... I'd say JPL got it's money's
worth. Now down to only Opportunity. Too bad we didn't fund a few more of
these...

They were pretty limited in where they could land; it had to be near the
equator for enough solar power, and at low elevations to give the
parachute enough ability to slow it down, but even with those
constraints I wish we had built some more of them rather than the way
over-budget MSL.

Sure got our money's worth out of that one.
It will be interesting to see how long Opportunity works for.
