existing bird sanctuaries today and the successful bringing down of a US Airways Airbus 320 in the Hudson river, Greenpeace have changed Thanksgiving to the third Thursday in January and hope the EPA and tree hugging turkeys take notice, a spokesgoose for Greenpeace honked. |

I do like the idea of snapping off the engines when landing on water, that idea should be explored further. Explosive bolts, perhaps, followed by big air bags.
