It is unlikely that this person even reads mail on this group.
Some checking would show that he is crapflooding at least
20 or so news groups. Maybe many more, I gave up after
finding about 12 or so.
He was originally using real names for his garbage but
is now just creating random names. I suspect that who ever
is doing it is just running an automatic program and has
long since stopped looking to see what damage is being
done.
He used to use valid names from a SciFi group.
I just hope we don't have to wait until the idiot dies before
he stops.

I always thought Real Christians were filled with love and not hatred,
myself, but there's stuff in the Bible to support both theories.

Instead of randomly-generated text, the sporger has sometimes used
book excerpts. One group was from the novel 1984, by George Orwell -
which book is still protected by *copyright*! Maybe now, since it's in
someone's *financial* interest to do so, he will be pursued to the
ends of the Earth...

The funny thing for me, was that on this group I only have about 10
messages, and was wondering 'what flood'. Then realised that a rule I
setup, on the last attack, must be working well!...
What I did, was programmed a receive script, which checks the sending
time, and ip source address of posts. If any ip address, is seen as
sending more than six posts in an hour to the one group, it deletes
everything from that address.
I turned it off for a while, and suddenly the thread about the flood,
made sense...
It shouldn't normally kill posts from any normal sources.
I set it up on my Linux transit server, and don't know if any of the
readily available newsreaders, could do something similar?.
I don't think it is a case of the poster having been "insulted". He
(or she), was probably told they were an idiot, and they decided to
prove whoever said this, 'right'...

Chances are it isn't even a person, but a virus on someone's computer. The
best recourse is to find out the souce and complain to the ISP.
