Default Anyone under 30 into this hobby?

Observing fields are littered with gray beards and astro stores are
rarer than Ferrari dealerships. I wonder if the shift away from
science related hobbies part of the "de-anglicizing" of North America?

folk, I agree Michael Martin-Smith

I was wondering if that was an attempt to declare "I am a racist" in a
"politically correct" fashion.

Well, Mr. Mustard _did_ declare he was Mean after all.

I see less Science attached to Anglicans and more the 'dumb down the
masses to make them better consumers' theory more likley.

Not in Vancouver: we have one of each. :-)

The Ferrari dealer also sell Maseratis. The telescope dealer
deal in all the usual stuff (Meade, Celestron, Orion, Synta)
but will have a go at getting in anything you want. They got
my Takahashi for me.
