Solar eclipse viewed from the Moon

As I was viewing the Lunar eclipse last night, I was trying to visualise
what an observer would see if they were standing on the Moon looking at
the Earth.

I suspect that there wouldn't be the bright ring of light seen during a
solar eclipse viewed from Earth. Instead there would be a large black disc
surrounded by a bright pink glow. It must be a beautiful sight.
