The paramount importance plus astronomical historicity
of these ancient calendar dates is thoroughly analyzed
and documented in my book Historical Calendar Of Jesus;

So why does the bible say the earth is flat and the sun revolves around the
earth?

How could plants exist before sunlight?

Borrowing astronomy from smart people doesn't make you smart.

The picture you see in the dictionary, right next to the word "imbecile",
that's Joseph Min, or nym monkey 'Quetzalcoatl'; just in case you wondered.

Job. There are also other places in the Bible that imply a flat earth
cosmology, including the Temptation of Jesus.

How could plants exist before sunlight?

Where does it say this?

Genesis.

You might think that, but the storyteller had a different idea (also,
the moon is around during daylight hours as much as it is around during
the night, though the storyteller seemed to have missed that as well):

11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants
and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to
their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation:
plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit
with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to
separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark
seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of
the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two
great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to
govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse
of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the
night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was
good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

The sun is over 5.5 BILLION years old. It's in middle age.

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.

Obviously the earth was first to be created according to the Bible.
I thought light was created on the first day and divided between day
and night. I don't know where I got this. I don't have a Bible handy
to look it up. But obviously I was
mistaken.

The imbecile whose definition is next to Min's picture is going to sue
