Great images Pete et al

It certainly is a lovely sight!

I've just had another glimpse before the clouds rolled in here in Cambridge.

Even the school I went to today with the planetarium were well impressed
that they may be able to see a comet!

Isn't astronomy Brilliant!

Cheers

Clouded out low down for me tonight.
What azimuth at about dawn time, about 70 degrees East ?
I don't have any high ground to the east of me

The real-time astronomy program RTGUI now has a feature to easily get
comet and asteroid positions over the internet. Just click on "Get
Comet/Asteroid", and enter "C/2006 P1". You'll get positions for the
next 60 days. When you've entered your latitude & longitude, you'll then
have exact altitude, azimuth, rise, and set times for the comet, for
whatever time you choose. Can also use gor "Goto".

Wonderful images. Thanks for sharing, and for including details on the
photos. I will try to view it here tonight, but I think the cluttered
horizon/cloudy weather will frustrate my attempt.

Thanks to everyone who has shared photo links.
