I rolled out the LX250/10 "Harvard Observatory" early this morning. I
viewed Saturn and was able to spot Tethys and Mimas, as well as Titan. Nice definition of the ring shadow. Checked GOTO alignment by slewing to Arcturus and Izar. Izar could not be split tonight, the seeing was not good enough. But Saturn was spectacular... However, at 4:00 in the morning, there was nobody I could share this view with. Matthew Ota |
