Default Christmas pressie for hubby

I wonder if you folk can help me............
I'd like to buy my husband an astronaut related biography /
autobiography for Christmas. He has lots already, so I'd like to get
him a newly published one if possible.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :-)

I'd suggest not Collins, Cernan, Slayton, Stafford, Schirra, Glenn,
Shepard, Lovell, Bean, Gagarin, Sharman, Kraft, Korolev, Krantz, Kelly,
Wendt, Chaikin. Off the top of my head, I've a feeling he might have
all of those.

There is that nice Liebergot chap though, too modest to plug himself
perhaps...

I shall now look the other way for six weeks or so.

Mike Mullane's book is good, if he doesn't have it.

I entered Mike Mullane's name in an Amazon search, and came up with
'Riding Rockets' - it looks like the kind of thing I'm after. I've
added it to my shopping basket, but have room for one for if there are
any other suggestions. Does Sy liebergot have anything recent in print,
does anyone know? The most recent I could find on Amazon.co.uk was from
May 2003:
'Apollo EECOM: Journey of a Lifetime'
As you may have guessed DK in post number 2 is aforementioned hubby,
who stumbled across my cry for help while he was at work - so he's
given my a few clues, but has promised not to come back to this thread
before Christmas :-)

Genesis The Story of Apollo 8
Robert Zimmerman

Althought not new, a good book for Christmas, Apollo 8 will become your
favorite mission after you read this.

Mikes book is really good as well.

Get him Cooper's "Leap Of Faith"... he'll either run off with an
alien/human hybrid UFO girl, or laugh his ass off.
If he runs off with a Space Kid, your better off without him.
"Don't listen to her Gordo! The aliens want to steal your truck!" :-D

....Especially if you're wearing nothing but a Santa hat when you hand
him the package.

Thank you all for your suggestions. After a bit of research, I've
decided which ones to go for - but I'm not going to 'reveal all' just
in case hubby comes back to this thread before Christmas. I'm sure
he'll come back to this thread after the event, and let you all know if
he enjoyed the books (and the santa hat :-))

Thanks again xx
