Look up at the heavens. Do we really want to leave future generations
with a legacy of space-based warfare? If the US dominates space how will this happen? You said the US strategy was not to let others build weapons in space. Anyway our current strategy calls for putting weapons in space. When you launch an ICBM, you are putting it in space, it has to go from ground to space, and from space to ground to reach its target. A space based weapon's system just cuts out the first part. And people living in Iowa near missile silos would probably prefer space-based missile platforms to be targeted rather than their own communities, don't you think? Tom |

Just where are those missile silos in Iowa?
Mike Walsh Alright, maybe their in Nebraska. A nuclear bomb exploding anywhere is going to have unpleasent consequences, the further it is away from people, the better. Its hard to think of a more remote location that outer space. Yet some people would rather have these missile based on Earth where people can get killed. Go figure. Tom |

We have to COMBAT the DEADLY SOVIET MENACE of orbiting GRAINSPHERES. It is a LITTLE KNOWN TRUTH that the Russians began development of space-based CEREAL STORACE FACILITIES in 1975, countered by SECRET AMERICAN tinned-herring bases on the MOON. UN-altered REPRODUCTION and DISSEMINATION of this IMPORTANT Information is ENCOURAGED. -- -Andrew Gray |
