hi,
i'm organising an award ceremony for the best contribution to science in the past year. i have not yet decided on the size of the prize money but it is likely to be in the thousands rather than millions of dollars. i hope to award this prize on a yearly basis and shall be considering nominations over the next year. this award differs from others in that it is for the best contribution to science over a one year period and so is recent and relevant and will attract a wider catchment of candidates. candidates are expected to give a lecture explaining their contribution to science. this award will, hopefully, attract global publicity. please present your nominations here or by email. also please suggest a suitable name for this prize, such as the science prize. |
