I have just purchased a 114mm reflector telescope from Celestron. It
came with one 10mm and one 25mm eyepiece. I've been able to do some basic observations of the skies and Jupiter has been my primary focus. I wanted to know at what magnification in an eyepiece I need, to see the dark strips around Jupiter. Presently with the 10mm eyepiece I can see the large moons around the planet but the planet itself still appears as a very bright star. |
