Default Al's Scope ][

Last night Al was able to get the scope to work, he called me out to see
Saturn, yep he had it, but such a tiny image, his high power was about eq to
my low power, but then I do have a bit bigger scope. He asked for anything
else, I said to look at mizar and see if he could see the other stars around
it.

He found the name on the data base and had the scope goto, ah but trouble
set in, there's a nut under the head area, must be fore the gears or
something and it came off, the spring loaded lock washer doesn't work and
when it falls off the whole thing stopps. He tighten it but it comes loose
all the time. I think he needs to get a good lock washer from his junk pile
or someplace.

After awhile he did get it on the star and I told him to use his low power
ep, with it, I could see both mizar and Alcor and one other smaller star.

I told him to get better he needs:

1. better finder: Red dot and/or telrad

2. adapter for 1.25 ep's.

3. lock washer.
