Default Maritim Resort Turkey eclipse

Hi Folks,

Lorraine and I got back later than most due to staying at her Mothers an
extra day (to recover from the travelling!) and I've only just got my
Omega-Maritim web page report up.

http://www.astrospace.co.uk/gallery/...eclipse06.html

Not as good as Pete's but as it's my first successful Total Solar
Eclipse I'm mighty happy with them.

Like Pete and Chris further over at ARDISIA we had a great eclipse with
excellent company and lots of good feedback from everybody about Nigel
and my evening presentation and how well Omega got it all organised.

As for the event itself - words fail me (quick make a note of that as it
is a rare occurrence!).

The pics speak for themselves and it's a case of 'bring on the next!'

Enjoy

Paul

Great pictures! I wish I had known about the lectures going on just
down the road from me - perhaps I could've snuck in....

I've also just got back from Turkey. We were on the beach in Side along
with a few hundred others. I've just put up the pictures straight from
my cheapo digital camera taken through an ST80. For a first attempt I'm
very pleased.

This was my first eclipse (other than France in 2000 where we were
clouded out). It was magnificent!

Now where can I book a hotel in Greenland in 2008????
