Default Eclipse times in UK?

The Sky At Night magazine says the 'bite' out the sun will be biggest at
10.33 UT. But won't we be on BST by then?
So it'll be 11.33 by our watches. Right?

I guess so.

I'll be in Side, Turkey. I believe they also operate a Daylight Savings
Time from 'late March' and so will be three hours ahead rather than the
normal 2. So this means the eclipse will take place at the local time
of 13:33?

Can anyone confirm this for sure? I'd hate to be the only plonker who
missed the eclipse because he was still in bed!

I can just see it now...

"Is it time to get up?"
"Nah - can't be. It's still dark outside.....hang on... it's suddenly
getting light again.....doh!"

Err... You won't miss it. It'll be when it's really dark but not teatime
yet.

Totality starts at about 13:55 local time in Side . (10:55 UTC) Still
only 2 hrs in front of UK local time as we have also just gone onto
BST tonight

I understand that Turkish Summer Time matches the EU.

Take with you a watch or clock, not radio-controlled; before you go
(preferably, before today g), set it to UTC; don't adjust it. It'll
give a trustworthy indication of approximately what the UTC is; the
details of the minutes and seconds can be got from other standards.
