Default Mogey f/14?

I was on the phone to my dad, Sunday morning, and I was telling him
about my astonomy hobby, which he in no small part inspired.

Back when I was about 8 years old he set up a refractor telescope in the
backyard to look for a comet. It wasn't a particularly good view, but
he called to us children to come see some of the cosmos. I think I was
the only one willing to leave the warm house and venture into a bitter
cold winter night to look through a brass eyepiece at Orion's Nebula
(M42). I was utterly fascinated, but that would be the last time I
would look through a telescope until college.

His telescope, as he described it, is a Mogey f/14. He was specific
about this bit, because he indicated most of the Mogey scopes were f/15,
but this was a special model. I haven't been able to find anything
regarding an f/14 model. Does anyone know where best to see information
on it?
