The Space Studies Institute will be hosting a track at the 2006
International Space Development Conference in LA, and would like to issue a call for papers to all interested researchers. The Proceedings will appear as Volume 14 in the SSI series, "Space Manufacturing and Space Settlement". This year's ISDC will be May 4-7 at the Sheraton Gateway in Los Angeles. Session topics include the following: Earth to orbit and deep space transportation Robotics and assembly in space Economics Legal and international considerations Space solar power Space tourism and space hotels Nonterrestrial resources: the Moon and asteroids Closed environment life-support systems Space manufacturing processes Anyone wishing to contribute a paper can reach me at the above (munged) address. -- Regards, Mike Combs |
