Default Battery pack for Starguide 80

I have just purchased one of these as a postable 'fun' instrument but it
is missing the little external plug-in battery pack which holds 8 size
AA batteries. Can anyone suggest where I can get one? Better still ghas
anybody got one that they will sell??

Thankyou in advance

This scope is the same as the Celestron NexStar 80GT, isn't it? If so,
then I have one of the dinky little battery handbags for it going spare.
AA batteries are not a very cost effective option - I use a 7 Ah lead
acid battery pack (£15 from Lidl) that I bought for my EQ-6. Luckily the
connectors and voltage are the same for both mounts.

Hi John

I found my old plug-in battery pack tonight while sorting the garage. Do you
still need one?

Regards

Chris
