The day was a good one, no clouds at all, so I loaded up the car and by 5pm
I was set up on the corner and had Galactica set on the moon. Now friday nights are slow ones, but I did get some viewers. First can two teens, they enjoyed the moon. It was a bit of time before a lady with at lest 5 kids came over and they all got to see the moon. The last ones to show up where two kids, about 8 or 9 years old and they had a fast look at the moon. I was waiting for Saturn and saw it coming up but it disappered, there was high clouds moving over head, didn't bother the moon but it wiped out the planets. By after 8:30 things where getting on the dead side, so I came on home. It was good being able to get back out. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords |
