Yes, Lincoln itself so struggle for dark skies. My Dad lives at Hackthorne
nice and dark thery havn't invented streetlights yet :-) well apart from
the runway lights when the Arroes land.

I used to work in Horncastle, at Banovallum and QEGS

my next Starnight for the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust

will do :-)

Hi Colin,

Happy New year Paul.

And to you.

Looking forward to your much anticipated (as usual) talks in bradford this
year.

They do like me up there don't they!

If 2005 was anything to go by I reckon giving talks will keep me out of
mischief again. 2005 had about 140 talks (including several 10 week
courses I run locally) - at some stage I guess I'll run out of evenings!

Fortunately the wife doesn't mind :-)

I still have room in my diary for any other society out there though at
the moment :-)

All the best to everyone on uk.sci.astronomy

He wrote back:-

Can you chase up this guy and find out what his costs and expenses are
likely to be? It would be nice to find a new speaker and any lead is worth
following.

As we don't wont to scare you off we wont mention that we're in Dumfries
till you've said you'll do it ;-)

What a prick! Fancy reposting the whole message instead of saying "I sent
the above to..." and after all the time I've lurked here.

Sorry Everyone.
