Default Rosamond Report

Rain, Wind, and WAR in Rosamond.

From Thursday night into early Friday we had a light rain
move threw the high desert. Then from Friday afternoon to
Saturday night we had the high winds that come behind the
storms. Plus on Saturday I had to use the wagon again, to
carry a tire and the flat tire up into town to get the
tire on the wheel, that ordeal was a killer and by the time
I got home and got the wheel back on the car I was dead.

So Sunday came nice and clear and only the slightlest of
a breeze. So I uncovered Babylon 8 and alined it and packed
my stuff into the old car. Parked across from the corner and
unloaded my stuff and set up the scope.

The Foster Freeze owner ( found out his name is Roger ) was
getting ready for his deal of lighting up the tree of lights
he puts up every year. I turned around just in time to see him
walking my way, so I was ready to hear what he had the say, but
instead he went around me and walked over and kicked the
stoolbox I have for the use of kids to stand on, then he turns
and kicks down my A frame sign, then he started in on that
old trid of him owning the sidewalk land and then his kicks
the sign again and THEN he pushs the scope over. I grabed it
to keep it from going over, all this time he's saying ...

"Your nothing but a waste of air, you shouldn't even be alive
to waste air and water on you". He came back a bit later and
even took Photos of me and my set up. But what he doesn't
know is just how close he came to having his neck broken,
when he pushed the scope, it was everything I could do to
not just release my temper.

In the mean time about 6 to 8 people stopped by the have
a look see of Mars, Venus and the Moon.

Came home by 8:30 as the temp was already dipping into the
30's and no one was staying around.

Oh ya, he also said he didn't want my family to sue him
if I got run over, ( been there 7 years and hasn't happened yet)
but I told him I lived alone and I didn't think my cat would
care to sue him.
