I am considering purchasing a 10" lx-90 and putting it on one of those
new meade wedges. Will it be sturdy enough to handle a DSI imager and maybe on occasion a small digital camera mounted afocally? I need to keep the setup moderatly light due to a previous back injury. Thx, Terry |

Thx, Terry Hi: Well, here's my advice, but I'm not sure it's what you'll want to hear. Forget the 10 inch LX90. IMHO, the fork which is very nice indeed for the 8 inch isn't sufficient for the 10 or (gawd!) the 12. No, stick with the LX90 8, one of the nicest, most problem free scopes Meade's ever built. Relatively inexpensive, but capable, with plenty of features. Also, it sounds like you're interested in imaging...all the 10 will get you is a narrower field (not a good thing with the small-chip DSI cams).
