Default specs

Got my first pair of specs, and tried them out the other night

in a word WOW - the minor correction was enough to bring me a sky I thought
I remembered from childhood

venus - brilliant in Scorpio and I was able to TELL mercury wasn't a star.

pleiades - I saw 6 stars quite nicely when low down over ocean and town....
very nice

orion - a bit disappointing, but I will retreat into a dark sky site for
further investigation

mars - a baleful glowing orb

what a joy - "naked eye" obs with a good set of specs

moon next

cheers
