"Staff at Baikonur to be cut to 2,800" This Interfax story says that only 2,800 "military and civilian specialists" will work at Baikonur after 2007. It is not entirely clear if this is just Russian Space Forces staff or not. Still it makes you wonder. How many people work at Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral again? - Ed Kyle |
