The fools could have used minor variations of the national hurricane center's projections that anyone can easily find on the web. Bartlo could have done that and sprinkled it with some arcane meteorology terms, easily found on the same site, to make it sound (to those who have never heard of him before) more like a prediction instead of a wild guess. He couldn't lose, since he could always say his minor variation was "about the same as" or "better than" the actual event. So is Bartlo too stupid to think of something that obvious, or is he a cowardly blowhard? Sometimes I wonder if his weather interests aren't just part of an unnatural attraction toward TV weather guys. |

Even the best forecasters use models and even other forecasts as guidance, but we don't make wild guesses. He couldn't lose, since he could always say his minor variation was "about the same as" or "better than" the actual event.
