Default Buzz in Australia?

I notice on the news tonight that Buzz Aldrin is in Australia, visiting the
flight of a replica wright aircraft. Anyone know if he's got any other
events on the schedule downunder? Thanks,

David

That was the only one on his website.

I knew about it a few months ago and completely forgot.

DUH!

Buzz Aldrin in the land down under
Where Wresat beeps and Black Arrow thunders
He met an Aboriginal space fan
Who asked him if he was a Moon man
And he said

Did you really walk around up there?
Way up on the Moon where there's no air?
How come the LM's exhaust left no crater?
Buzz just smiled and gave him a knuckle sandwich.

Buzz Aldrin at the aerodrome at Narromine
The Wright replica looks so fine
The pilot knew who he was
So he stepped right up to Buzz
And he said

Are you that famous Moon man?
Who Radio Shack used in its advertising plan?
Compared to Neil are you a second rater?
Buzz just smiled and gave him a knuckle sandwich.

Buzz Aldrin on EVA walkabout
Now there's something to talk about
They say he bounced across the outback
Last seen near Alice Springs never came back
And they said

Was that the famous Moon Man?
Who completed JFK's Moon plan?
On that was his word completely reliable?
I'd heard he wouldn't swear to it on a Bible. :-)

On or about Sat, 01 Oct 2005 14:28:17 -0500, Pat Flannery made the sensational claim that:

And he said

Did you really walk around up there?

Well, the "knuckle sandwich" line is directly based on the "Vegemite
sandwich" line in the original song (and was in fact what inspired this
little parody)....however, just for you:

Buzz Aldrin at a snack shop in Woomera
Good food there is mighty rare-a
The waitress brought Buzz Vegemite, it made him nervous
Stranger than anything he'd ever eaten in the service
And she said

Did you say Catholic mass up there on the Moon?
Did the communion wine seem to be gone way too soon?
Was joining Alcoholics Anonymous for your buzz a boon?
Buzz just smiled and gave her a knuckle sandwich :-)

Pat
