I think you mean, they're attachment points in case the Designer
decides to offer legs as optional equipment.

Well you know that modular design is all the rage in the IT world, so one
could foresee that it would catch on pretty quick in ID as well.

The snake Pelvis is used for dance.

Most of the people I have talked to who push intelligent design
seem like they wouldn't know it if they saw it.
