After seeing a comment that the modules are good to around 2015 it got
me wondering, what is its life expectancy? |

Probably depends on whether they have any nasty accident as per Mir or not!
I'd imagine they have a long life really, as I understood the various bits are replaceable. Brian Corrections welcomed, but Mir survived its accidents rather well. What killed it was politics. Given that Zarya was launched in late 1998, ISS will have to survive until 2013 or 2014 to outlive it. -- Remove spam and invalid from address to reply. |

But surely, if its not finished till2010, then to get a decent return, you
would need it to at least last till,say, 2020?
