For us in the west, any early reports of aurora that you see in the
evening in east, with a latitude position, would be appreciated. They
help to plan for aurora observing in the intermountain west and west
coast. Thanks - Canopus56

You can monitor these pages. Some are near real time visual
obsevations of active aurora activity. Since I am on the east coast,
the observation from Europe are a great help to me. On more than one
occasion have I seen a aurora based upon the reported observations. Of
course some subside before it get dark at my local.

Read the informational text within these pages to gleen more on the
chance of seeing a local display.
