I need to replace the 9-volt battery in this flashlight. How is this done?

On the top, towards the front of your light, there will be a little tab (close to the wheel you use to adjust the brightness). Push it down, and pull the front lens covering off. Once that's off, just grab the little circuit board the LEDs are attached too and pull it out. You should see the battery attached at the end. That's how it works on the Rigel, and looking at the pic http://www.telescope.com/shopping/pr...ord=flashlight it looks nearly identical. Hope that helps, Esmail |

I'd opened the lens, and was afraid of breaking the circuit board. Just tried your suggestion, and out it is. Now to replace the battery. |

Over time the little screw that holds the wheel to the circuit board came loose on mine and actually once fell out. Luckily I was at home playing around with it. You may want to keep an eye out for that .. you'll notice the wheel switch will become "sloppy". I probably should just dab a bit of glue on the screw to keep it in place. Cheers, Esmail |
