Default Good time to starhop to Pluto

Pluto is now located only 1' from 8.26 magnitude TYC6234-00170-1 which can
be found centered about 1 degree below a line extending between Xi and Nu
Serpentis. At magnitude 13.9, Pluto is doable in moderate size scopes
under dark skies. Some claim to have glimpsed it with 5 inch optics. I
have a hard time seeing it with my 12.5 inch dobsonian under a NELM of 6.

I did exactly that this past weekend. It's a busy field, but having
that bright star and another fairly close one (perhaps a companion) next
to it makes for easier identification of Pluto.

It's always fun to look the following night as well, just to nail it.

Best regards,
Mojo
