No, it is self-inflicted confinement.

That's not something you should easily expect me to forget. What control do you think *I* exert over Google's image collection? The 'web' listings of Google and Yahoo have consistently listed Roger Boisjoly and Al McDonald as *the* space shuttle whistleblowers, especially where Challenger is concerned. Can you conclusively prove in a court of law (or even on the internet) that Boisjoly and McDonald warned their superiors about the *true* reason for the Challenger disaster? Are McDonald and Boisjoly *really* unabashed whistleblowers, who over the years have suffered arrows and afflictions for their actions (at the hands of NASA, their former employer, and other prominent entities) equivalent to those which I have? Presently, Google's relevant image collection answers these last two questions in the negative. Challenger's Ghost |

That was just my opinion, based on your posting history, when I saw your complaint about experiencing "Solitary Confinement"; that it is something that you have made a conscious decision to experience. As I explained, the title I chose for this thread refers to the fact that Google has included in my company no images of Roger Boisjoly, Al McDonald, et al, as "space shuttle whistleblowers." Without a basis more specific than my "posting history," your opinion remains baseless. It is your own posting history (of consciously contributing to my ongoing harassment) which you should examine. Unlike McDonald and Boisjoly, I took cryo, hypergolic, and software warnings to the proper authority prior to the 51-L launch -- Senate oversight of NASA and its contractors. I had absolutely no idea that my reports would be discounted/ignored then, discredited/ignored during the Rogers investigation, and treated like a banned book to this day. If I had known that was going to happen, I would have found some way to go directly to the astronauts, including Christa and Greg, in an effort to save their lives. As it was, when I found myself in a prelaunch crisis situation, I fell back on my high school education in civics and American history. I gave my warning reports to the Senate, channeled through a Senator from my home state who had gained a national reputation as a whistleblower's advocate. The last time I publicly questioned him about the still unrectified situation (in a town hall meeting), he pretended he didn't remember who I was. He then did worse (even though our phone calls and mail contact had been ongoing). He referred to me as if I was Al McDonald. Challenger's Ghost |
