Has NASA announced if it plans to go on with the launch as planned or
is going to delay?

Latest word is that they are going for July 13th launch date, but the
official word will come after the Flight Readiness Review meeting which is
being held today at KSC.

NASA just announced that launch of STS-114 is set for
3:51pm ET, Wednesday, July 13, 2005.

Funny you should mention B-Days. I turned 38 on the day Columbia was lost
(Feb.1, 2003). That kinda sucked a bit.
