Default Black Holes Do Not Exist!

Black holes do not exist, says George Chapline, a physicist at Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory in California. Instead he proposes an
entity called a Dark Energy Star. He argues that QM, not GR, is the
correct theory for macro as well as micro realms.

"The picture of gravitational collapse provided by
classical general relativity cannot be physically correct
because it conflicts with ordinary quantum mechanics.
For example, an event horizon makes it impossible to
everywhere synchronize atomic clocks. As an
alternative it has been proposed that the vacuum state
has off-diagonal order, and that space-time undergoes a
continuous phase transition near to where general
relativity predicts there should be an event horizon. For
example, it is expected that gravitational collapse of
objects with masses greater than a few solar masses
should lead to the formation of a compact object whose
surface corresponds to a quantum critical surface for
space-time, and whose interior differs from ordinary
space-time only in having a much larger vacuum
energy [1]. I call such an object a "dark energy star".

I think it's right, when a star collapses at some level of density nuclear
forces become dominant so QM overcomes GR.
You can call these kind of objects gravastars, quark stars, dark energy
stars, gravistars or even Black Comets...
This idea is so simple and clear that is almost incredible that so clever
minds (like Bert...) had lost so much time to build impossible theories
about impossible objects like Black Holes...

Hi Luigi Call it any name as long as you know a black hole is a region
of space-time where nothing not even light can escape, because gravity is
just to strong. Karl Schwarzchield taking Einstien's own GR math proved
they had to be. We now can see them by how they effect stars in their
area of space. Center of spiral galaxies like our Milky way have the big
ones. Hawking tell us they can come in any size. His buddy Roger Penrose
came up with a collapsing star must end in a singularity, and to add to
that this guy "Friedmann came up with an expanding universe must begun
with a singularity. 40 years ago these guys made me think BH are here
to stay. I think GR is correct on this by almost 100%. I'm not saying
GR is a complete theory. I have to take over for GR like all the Google
theories break down at the beginning of the universe. I and just a few
others are not afraid of space-time before the big bang. I've posted my
thoughts on this. Luigi I have no fear in stating my
theories. I have been called crazy all my life, and now that I'm a crazy
old man I think they knew me. My late best friends told
me I could be very clever at "times" So There Bert

Thank you Officer Luigi especially since nightbat's net posted
profound " Black Comet " theory preceded all the other named upstarts.
It must be making cosmological waves since original Deja news archive
and now google beta version is apparently removing historic post records
in the name of commercial progress. It is not a Bert likened Star Ship
for I already have an advanced net reported Darla Star Race ship named
after me. It is the original presented paradox singularity solution
before I went on to further fame and presented first life candidate the
Red Halo as well.

Officer Double-A feels the nightbat Red Halo candidate is deserving of a
Nobel alone, however all my mind discoveries and inventions hold a very
special place in my research loving heart. But nothing can compare to
hopeful first Official Contact and the possible securing for my fellow
Earth Science Officers a Star Ship shared gift of our own.

carry on,
the nightbat

It its interesting that I had a lot of trouble finding a good statement
of George Chapline's theory online. It seemed that most of the
websites carrying information on his theory had been disabled!

Suppression of the truth marches on!

Good sign, it means that he's right...
If it was another story like "Quadrillions sun masses black hole found in my
bathroom (very useful for cleaning)" you would be able to find it
everywhere... :-)

Let's see now. Google gives 677 hits for George Chapline.
Number 2 is an Arxiv paper by one G Chapline
http://arxiv.org/abs/astro-ph/0503200, and you can't get closer to the
horse's mouth than that :-)
Let's look a bit more.
http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=49454 has a useful
discussion, though you need a subscription to Nature to read their
linked article.
Interesting objection to his theory at

Another excellent discussion at

Hey, I could spend all evening following up this stuff. Are you sure
your browser is set correctly?
