Default Griffin "Stanley Committee" Reassessing CEV

According to NASA Watch, NASA Administrator Griffin
has initiated a hand-picked "Exploration Systems
Architecture Study" team, headed by Dr. Douglas
Stanley, that will reassess the CEV program, including
how it might support ISS and how it might might be
accelerated. This "Stanley Committee" will also work
to define the requirements for "crew and cargo launch
systems" for lunar and Mars missions (probably laying
the groundwork for supporting shuttle derived launch).
Finally, it will define a reference lunar exploration
architecture to support sustained human and robotic
missions.

And now the news in translation. Today's language is Patspeak:

"According to NASA News, NASA Commander-In-Chief General Griffin,
the hero of the MSFC Massacre, has initiated a hand-picked and
very classified "Exploitation Systems Attack Study" team, headed
by space combat veteran Major Douglas Stanley, who led the mission
that plowed a Progrees cargo transport int the Soviet Mir space
station. "Slaughter" Stanley's team will reassess the CEV (Combat
Excursion Vehicle) weaponization program, including how it might
covertly support the ISS conversion to an American-owned orbital
battle station and also study how the CEV's development as a
Sprint Missile Attack Carrier might be accelerated."

launch systems" for lunar and Mars missions (probably laying the

And now the news in translation. Today's language is Simbergspeak:

"Bah. I could do it better... whatever it is they're doing..."

I think my BabelFish are going wonky, and that's before
the GuthSprach Variation.

....The Simbergspeak translation is probably the most dangerous,
because the schmuck will no doubt just C&P it for his next column.

Time will tell, probably via a FOIA request a few years down the road. ;-)

ESAS? What kind of an acronym is that for a secret project? Geez. Nothing
like The Campaign for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms
and their Rehabilitation Into Society or the Foundation for Unpersoning of
Child Killers.
