Ray Thanks for that site. Telling us that there ar stars in the halo of
our galaxy that are 12 billion years old fits well with my estimate of
the universe's age of 22 billion years. Andromeda is bigger and older
than the Milky Way,and that means the chance of intelligent life there
has better odds in forming then here, and more of it. Bert

Much data and much scientific discourse has gone into the 13.7 B yr
estimate, Bert. All are willing to reconsider -- given sufficient new
data you have uncovered. Come now, mustn't keep us waiting in suspense.

i'm sure the age of the universe will be revised 1000 times in the next 1000
years.
