Default Replacement group

One of SAA's old time users who ran two e-mail groups ( one on yahoogroups,
one on UK server ) has closed down the groups, says he's moving on. Sad to
say there was no notice to the users that I know of.

So to replace at lest the yahoogroups one, I have started a replacement one
up.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DobsonianTelescopes via the web, or you can
join via e-mail :

This is for ALL sizes of Dob's, from the small light cups (4.25inch ) to
Light Buckets.

What you would list as the best (1) moderated and (2) unmoderated
astronomy lists currently on yahoo?

leave your -

Well, to tell the truth ( hmmm ), I used to belong to 3 lists the same owner
had, the other ones I'm not even sure of their address now as almost no
posting has been done, I'm going to have to go to yahoogroups and copy all
the address's from mygroups listings so I can add them to outlook again. But
I think it's only 2 left on yahoogroups, the others are ones on a spam free
UK server and all but two I run myself. I am on one list on smartlist ( I
think that's the servers name ).

So I have to let that be answered by others as I am the one that runs more
astronomy lists along with many MANY other lists from gardening to rocketry
to astronomy.

I will say one thing, the yahoogroups list I either run or co-mod for
someone, is set up so that new users have their first post modeated, once a
good post, they get updated to free posting.

The UK servers, because of the way anyone has to sign on, defeats the
spammers cold and they are never seen at all.

Talking Telescopes on Yahoo is one of the best. It covers a wide
variety of scopes and accessories as well as using them. There is a
wealth of skilled and experienced posters and newbies are welcomed.

the time. So I left and I found the Dob group of which I have two of and
it's sister list dob internaional on the uk server. The yahoo one is gone
but I set up it's replacement and I am now running the one on the UK server
along with all the other lists. And I don't complain about anyones sig.
