You don't need a pedal, dweeb - you need a brain.

Hi guys,

I currently own a lovely Marshall DSL 401 combo amp.
From time to time I like to play lead lines in songs, but as
my amp is at a good volume in relationship to the other
guitarist in my band, the solo lines aren't clearly heard. He
uses a tube screamer to boost himself, so can anybody recommend
the best pedal available for me to acheive this effect in a similar

way?

Thanks

My philosophy is that pedals are too often used to patch another

problem.
If your guitar will get you enough gain through your amp, have you tried
setting the guitar volume at 10, set amp for lead tone, then back off on

the
guitar volume for the rest of your work?

FYI: is NOT Jim Anable in Michigan. It is a

troll.

1. Check groups before posting replies.
2. Mixed top / bottom posting is even more annoying than top posting.
3. Learn to snip.
4. Capitalization isn't just for best occasions.
