Default Kielder Forest Star Camp 2005

A date for your diary. The Forestry Commission and Sunderland Astronomical
Society are staging the 2005 Kielder Forest Star Camp from 8 - 11 September.
The venue remains the Kielder Campsite in the heart of Northumberland and
the main day will be on 10 September at Kielder Castle. Last year's main
day was a great success and once again we will have trade stands and top
speakers. The star camp website is up and running at
www.richarddarn.demon.co.uk/starcamp/ , including booking information.

Thanks for your time.

Hi Richard,

I wouldn't mind trying to get to your Star Camp... sounds a good one if the
conditions play ball...
I've been to the Kelling event and although the atmosphere was good, the
event seems to suffer from wind )

Hope you grab a good croud !!

Rich,
I might be bobbing over to your event. It's good that at long last we're
got a decent selection of star parties to go to. Not that the weather has
got any better though.

Cheers
Richard

Great News Richard,

My booking form is in the post already and we are all hoping for, shall we
say, drier weather this year :-).

I am looking forward to enjoying the truly dark skies we have experienced
for the last two years, plus the excellent Saturday traders and speakers.
Hopefully we will have a good sized party from the York AS attending again.

Very best wishes and clear, dark skies.

Many thanks for your support, Paul.

Let's hope the earlier date means more chance of clear skies after last
year's deluge.
