STS 107 isn't covered in this? Come to think of it Voskhod 2 had a bit of
adventure during its return home. Of course cosmonauts having to fend off
wolves is more of an Earth-bound problem.

I spotted this book last week at a Barnes and Noble. Didn't have time to give
it a look, though I plan to now.

Just finished a good book and thought that I'd recommend it.

I don't remember the issue with Apollo 15 on reentry -
guess I will have to finish Dave Scott's recent book for that incident.

....Dumped RCS propellants severed part of the 'chute lines, which
allowed the 'chute to collapse and fail to provide full braking on
descent. A15 landed a bit harder as a result.

How could it, unless the author was psychic? The book was published in

Ah, as I'd just sighted the book on the shelves and I assumed it was a new
release. My bad.

Sorry, but my memory needs refreshing; what was the STS 51-D re-entry
problem?
