Default Advice - Binocular Mount

I received a pair of Apogee 20 X 100's for Christmas.
They weight about 4-5 kg (10-12 lbs) and will require more than just a
camera tripod to mount.
Anyone out there with some experience/ advice before I start spending $$$$.
I am interested only in astronomical viewing.
Thanks.
Steve
