Hi everyone,
I'm looking to purchase a Skywatcher 70x700 OTA (from the AZ2 setup) to use as a guide scope. I am trying to find a tube ring set which will suit to mount it. A few quick questions in case anyone can help: 1. Can someone please tell me the outside diameter of the 70x700 OTA such that I can find rings to suit? 2. I see the 70x500 is shown in pictures with tube rings. Would these suit the 70x700 OTA? (are the scopes the same diameter?) 3. Can anyone recommend some rings for this scope? (from other manufacturers even). I'm only after simple clamp style rings, not 3 point adjustable rings. 4. Can anyone tell me how much the OTA weights? (just the tube). Thankyou, Roger |
