A thought,A near earth spent comet measer for size. Make bag,
send bag out to comet. Fly bag around comet, seal bag spin and tumble
bag to mach comet . Cargo net grabes comet. Micro wave tranmiter flying
near comet heats comet, gas is relesed in bag gas presure is used to
stop spin and tumble. Then micro wave transmiter ataches to bag. Gas is
used to park at L point or orbit moon. Please coment realy love to have
coment from a properly educated person dreamers like me welcome to.
This is to place fuel closer to us to mine. This would be unmaned. When
parked the harder mining refining will be done by maned misions.

There are very few of these. Most comets are in highly eccentric orbits.

This is _very_ expensive to do with microwaves, but quite easy with cheap sun light. Perhaps you should think in terms of using a solar sail to match orbits with the comet, then using the solar sail as a solar concentrator to heat it up.

OK, yes, comets can be used as a source of water for fuel, reaction mass, etc. And mining it from comets is something which we will probably do in the future.
