Default solar system alignment

Thanks for reply. It is good to know you have also noticed this. I
am in UK, West of London. Are you in USA or Europe ?
This is pretty basic. I am conscious that the sun is 400 times further
away than the moon, and that the moon's orbit is tilted appreciably
from the ecliptic, but cannot see that this should affect the logic
you (and I) have applied.
Please let me know if you find out, and I will make a note to
reciprocate.
