The Mission Status Briefing is at 2 p.m. EST at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston. Reporters also can ask questions from participating NASA centers. The event will be broadcast live on NASA TV and on the Web. Participants: -- Bill Gerstenmaier, International Space Station Program Manager -- Annette Hasbrook, Expedition 10 Lead Flight Director -- Don Thomas, International Space Station Program Scientist Space Station managers will discuss activities of the Expedition 10 crew. The crew is in its second month onboard the orbiting laboratory. Commander and NASA Station Science Officer Leroy Chiao and Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov have worked on maintaining Station systems, conducted science experiments and taken a short ride in their Soyuz spacecraft. The crew is focused on the departure of one Progress cargo ship and the arrival of another, scheduled to dock Christmas Day. NASA TV is available via satellite in the continental U.S. on AMC-6, Transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz. In Alaska and Hawaii, NASA TV is available on AMC-7, Transponder 18C, C-Band, at 137 degrees west longitude. The frequency is 4060.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
